Queries about incoming links

    I have a query related to link building. If my website is getting incoming links from the websites which was banned by google, then whether my website will be in trouble or not?

    Not really. Not one link can hurt you. However if most of the links that come to your website are from banned site, you are in trouble.

    I wouldn't say that if you have 100 links that link to your site and one of these links was from a bad site then your rankings or sites credibility would be questioned, but if the number increases to a reasonable amount then I would say that Google would take some action.
