hi i want to put similar text on several pages. the text is a about 100 words long. how much difference should be bwtween the text on different pages, so google doesn't regard it as duplicate content? one different word? 5? 10? 20? i guess if there are 100 different words than it certainly will not be duplicate content (-: thanks
If it is on the same domain don't worry about duplicate content it won't harm you as far as Google is concerned.
You always want to try and use "Unique Quality Content" whenever you can with whatever you're trying to do, but in your case you have nothing to worry about. There's a huge debate on duplicate content, but I don't worry about it too much. It has never affected my site in any way for the last 4 years, but I do stay away from it as much as possible. "Quality Content Is King" not duplicate.
Unique content is still best. If you would want to write similar ideas and topics, it is best to rewrite it and reorganize the formation of your sentences. Unique content will bring you more benefits so it is always advised to write one.
I completely agree with that. It is exactly what I do when I have similar articles or posts: reorganize, perephrase and add sometjhing new.
