I am very new in SEO. My site is getting daily 10 / 12 visitors a day. Below are my current strategies that I have applied so far and reached these much visitor quantity. 1. Ezinearticle submission. I have submitted 10 articles so far. 2 are not approved so far. How many articles should I submit to ezine? 2. Posting comments to high PR blogs. 3. Social Bookmarking. What else should I do (I need only free strategies not paid) to increase my visitors to 100?
Can you give me your site name? I think first you should analysis your site?understand business model or theme then which type of visitor you need local of global? then you should make strategies..so it will helpful for you...
Keep on adding content to your site. Maybe include a blog if that fits with your theme. The more content on your site, the more long tail phrases your site will be found for and in turn the more visits you will get. Combine this with link exchange perhaps and you should see your traffic increase, don't expect 100 visits overnight though! It is a slow process.
I would also suggest adding more content to your site - content that is interesting for your visitors, and is original. Fresh content attractes search engine spiders, which means more search engine traffic. I would also encourage to get links from other websites and blogs that are about a similar topic. I would recommend staying away from link exchanges, as they are not effective for SEO. Rather, try to get one way links. Good articles would help you achieve this as well. Good luck.
blogging and articles are both good because they are a 2 pronged attack, they help drive traffic to your sites, and build links at the same time. Try setting up a couple of feeder blogs and posting short article or excerpts on them, wordpress and livejournal hold a lot of clout. make sure you submitt your main blog to a couple of blog syndication sites.
blog syndication is a site that will collect and distribute news & blogs. I use 2, Feedburner & syndic8.
First you need to know if the keywords you are trying to rank for have enough searches. Check with https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal When you keep adding articles to you site and keep building backlinks (with the strategies that you are using) your site will climb in the SERPS and get more traffic.
how many articles you will need to submit and how mancy backlinks in total u will need will depend on your competition for the terms you are targetting. just analyze your top 5 competitors to see how many backlinks they have on yahoo and google and plan accordingly. you will also need to look at the type of backlinks your competitors have. some will have all worthless links form no good sites but have thousands of backlinks. it is the quality of backlinks that count at the end. it is good that you are using a mixed link building campaign. just keep working and never stop. you will see rise in traffic slowly
spread the word about your site even frther by socializing... I mean, social networks, twitter and bookmarks could give you more visitors.... But don't forget to buiild your links, blogging your site could be helpful too...

Thanks a lot for guidance by all. I don't know why but my account was inactive for last 2 days. I contacted the forum admin and it is active now. The good news for me now is, my total 10 articles are accepted by ezine and secondly I have got platinum mebership by them. Now I can submit unlimited articles to ezine. Thanks to those who stamped my belief that content / articles are the most important points in SEO. I have even started submitting my sites to Social bookmarking sites (daily 2), high PR blogs commenting (daily 5 actually these all are not approved but at least 1/2 gets approval). I created squidoo. Let's see what these consistent efforts gives me.
