Hey all, Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that every page can have 3 link ads, 3 content ads, 3 referral ads, and 1 google search. That makes 10 ads available per page. Should every page, with sufficient content, have all 10 adsense ads on it? Why? Is it best to limit the adsense ads on a page? Why? Thank you!!!
Put yourself in your web visitors shoes... If you visited your site and could only see ads by google... would you want to come back? 3 or 4 ads by google is enough for any page and by having more ads, you increase the chance of having all the low paying ads displaying as well. In general, less is more... as in less ads will help make your site more natural looking, rather than an ad farm and it will help people actually find the content.
In my experience, 3 to 4 ads is just fine, not more than that. It will give your visitors informative amount of ads, and they will not leave your page because of ads. Cheers.
