Hello there, DP! I've been supplying quality writing to the members of Digital Point for nearly two years now. My recent contracts have expired, so I'm looking to get more on my plate to fill my time. I'm willing to write on any niche for the great price of $0.80/100 words. I will accept PayPal only. If you're interested in seeing samples of my writing, please check out my portfolio in my signature, where you can see several published samples of my works on various sites. If you're interested in contacting me about doing some work for you, please use the PM feature here on DP, or the email feature on my website. Please be sure to include: 1. Number of articles to be written 2. Word count for each article I will reply to you with a turnaround time estimate and we will go from there, though as a rough estimate, article orders under 3000 words should take me no longer than 24 hours. Thanks!
Added you on Skype/MSN - may be able to give you a order of 100 articles at 1000 words each but would need as fast turn around as possible.
Michael Dunlop contacted me to write for him a series of articles which could be presented on his website at www.incomediary.com. He gave me a list of ten people to write 1k word articles on. I told him I thought I could have them done within the day. I did take three days to get the work done, but since then he has received all 10 articles and has ignored me at best. Here is the original conversation: [11/12/2009 12:32:17 PM] Michael Dunlop: Still haven't got those docs? [11/12/2009 12:37:03 PM] Ashley King: I just sent them in .zip format. [11/12/2009 12:38:09 PM] Michael Dunlop: Thought you said you would have the rest by yesterday evening.. [11/12/2009 12:38:18 PM] Ashley King: Did you not get them? [11/12/2009 12:38:42 PM] Michael Dunlop: got 5 you just sent now. [11/12/2009 12:38:48 PM] Ashley King: No, there should be 6. [11/12/2009 12:38:55 PM] Michael Dunlop: 6 then [11/12/2009 12:38:57 PM] Michael Dunlop: wheres other 4 [11/12/2009 12:39:47 PM] Ashley King: I want you to look at those and make sure they're right before I continue. The other four are in progress. That's what I told you yesterday, but you never confirmed receiving what I sent yesterday. [11/12/2009 12:39:56 PM] Ashley King: I didn't know you couldn't open .rar files, otherwise I would have sent them as zip. [11/12/2009 12:40:06 PM] Ashley King: www.rarlabs.com, btw. Lots of people use .rar format now. [11/12/2009 12:40:20 PM] Michael Dunlop: I can use .rar [11/12/2009 12:40:24 PM] Michael Dunlop: your one just didn't work for some reason. [11/12/2009 12:40:33 PM] Ashley King: Really? I don't understand that. [11/12/2009 12:40:40 PM] Ashley King: Because I opened it up just fine to re-extract it. [11/12/2009 12:40:57 PM] Ashley King: You opened that .zip? [11/12/2009 12:43:04 PM] Michael Dunlop: ye [11/12/2009 12:43:25 PM] Ashley King: Great, have a look over them to be sure its what you need, please. They're all done in the same style. [11/12/2009 12:47:57 PM] Michael Dunlop: Finish the other 4 please [11/12/2009 12:48:00 PM] Michael Dunlop: these are fine [11/12/2009 12:48:33 PM] Ashley King: Great, you'll have them within an hour. Do you have the next 10 so I can get started on those after I finish these? It's only noon here and I plan on working several more hours. [11/12/2009 12:48:53 PM] Michael Dunlop: Will send in a hour as i got a interview to do with someone. [11/12/2009 12:49:15 PM] Ashley King: Sure thing. Will look for them then. I'll include my PayPal address when I send these last four. [11/12/2009 12:49:46 PM] Michael Dunlop: sure. [11/12/2009 3:08:44 PM] Ashley King: The files were sent about an hour ago, please confirm you received them and send the next 10 so I can get started on those tonight and have them for you tomorrow. If you want to send more than 10, you can do that as well. I'll be working all night. ~ I never heard back from him after completing the articles, so I messaged him again in regards to why I hadn't received payment for the articles. ~ [6:57:42 AM] Ashley King: Did you get the final four files, Michael? [6:58:05 AM] Michael Dunlop: Hello, yes let me quickly talk to someone in the office to see if the qualitiy will do for fture. [7:44:59 AM] Ashley King: Any answer? It's been almost an hour. ~ I waited a bit longer until I was fed up with waiting. Getting paid for a job should not take this long, especially since he had already confirmed he was happy with the quality and wanted me to continue. Then I get this: ~ (11:47:16 AM) C'mon Mike, it doesn't take four hours to ask about articles. You have a schedule to keep and so do I. I need to know what's up. (11:59:05 AM) I see you've already posted the articles I wrote for you on your website. Larry Page, Jeff Bezos, Pierre Omidyar, Eric Emerson, that's all my work. If I don't have compensation for this work in the form of $70 in my PayPal account by this evening (8PM SUSSEX, UNITED KINGDOM TIME), I'll be giving you a negative feedback on DigitalPoint. There is no question in my mind you've found the work acceptable, as you're already using it. You're now ignoring me and I haven't received payment for what I've already done. (12:09:44 PM) Firstly I'm having Dinna, secondly you have lost the future contract because you just act like a little child. Thirdly you left me waiting for several days and for you to expect me to reply instantly with an answer... well it just doesn't seem quite fair. (12:10:31 PM) I'm not acting childish, Michael. I've been very professional about the whole thing. I understand if you're not happy with having to wait longer than originally quoted, but you can pay me for the work done and leave it at that. (12:11:20 PM) I spoke to you this morning and you said you were speaking with someone to make sure the quality was good enough for future use. That was around 5 hours ago. (12:11:27 PM) You haven't been having dinner for five hours. (12:17:03 PM) They came back to me saying it wasn't that good so I emailed someone else for oppinion so I'm waitig on them. (12:17:05 PM) Going back to Dinna. (12:17:36 PM) Yet you're already using them on your website? ~ If the quality wasn't that good, he wouldn't have posted them on his website at www.incomediary.com. All of the articles quoted in the above chat log were written by me and now he refuses to pay for them. I'm sick of dealing with a fraudulent person, so I'm warning all of those who are considering doing business with Michael Dunlop. Save yourself the time and trouble and don't do business with a thief.
Warning - worst writer ever. You give him a job, doesn't deliever at all and the guy disappears!! ** complete and utter timewaster ** >> stay away!!
