On Nov. 26 I ordered a 400-word article with 25 submissions and received the full report today. It looks pretty good so far; the report is an Excel file that lists the main URL of the sites where the article was submitted, the PR of the sites, the category for the submission, the status (pending or approved), and for the approved articles you can see the URL of the page where it is published. At the time I received the report, 4 of the 25 had been approved, so I was able to visit the relevant pages and verify that the submissions were actually done. The article was reasonably well written with only minor grammatical issues and slight overuse of keyword phrases. Some of the article directories even allowed the link (with anchor text) to be placed within the article body. This is very good and is the best kind of link you can have, although the submitter failed to include the trailing slash in the link, which can create canonicalization issues. There were also two instances of the same link (one with anchor text and one without) placed in the resource boxes, which meant that for sites including the link in the article body there were actually three copies of the same link placed on the same page. This is overkill and can dilute the link strength somewhat; it is always best to have a single link with anchor text placed either in the middle of the content or in the resource box at the end. If there is a second link included, it should go to the home page of the site where the linked article is from or perhaps to another relevant article page on the same site. For the next time I use this service, I will need to be more careful about specifying the linking protocols.
