    The search engines use algorithms to make their determinations, & algorithms aren't as smart as humans are at figuring out what is a material change to a potential linker.

    It really depend which algorithm you refer to. In any case there is always involvement of humans in the process, so yes I agree that they are not as smart as humans, but humans are monitoring them.

    Yes, I agree with you. Algorithms are not as smart as humans, because it is human being that programmed it and update it from time to time.
