James, you could start to resolve this by refunding my money. It's hard to believe you don't recognize my user name since I PMed many times asking why no work was being done and then asking many times for a refund with no response.

well, I too didnt make good experience with him. but its not about not getting my money back or so.
I was just asking if he could seo a german site and he took a look at it. but he didnt exactly refused to
take the order. I msn'ed him several times asking if you could now do it or not, he never responded.
then after a while when I wasnt so friendly with my words any more he said, I have much work to do, I said
thats ok but it would be nicer if you could clearly say if you want or can do the job or not instead of being quite.

although I said this, up until now he still couldnt tell me if he wanna do it or not. let me speculate... I think he will not do it, lol.

well, as you can see, my experience was not related to his work itself but more to his (potential) customer service.

 

This guy totally scammed me!

if someone works for one the the UK's biggest SEO companys...he probably wouldn't come to DP to find business..

 

After reading ewex's post, I don't think I would want him to work for me

 

I haven't heard from James in over 1 week after I paid him. He should be banned.

all pm's will be responded to asap and seo reports sent out to clients who have yet to receive them, you guys on here are to quick to jump to the wrong idea

Thats ridiculous, if i dont want to speak to someone on my msn then i wont do its as simple as that, if you are a paying client then you get all my contact details and that way we keep good customer relation

I personally know james and there is no way this guy is a scammer. What DP does as of late is give the best of people a bad reputation, and to be honest its aload of crap.

If we are looking for say a piece of coding to be done or a design, obviously we choose someone at the cheapest rates I.E DP, GAF, Scriptlance. But this is getting to be ridiculous because these so called freelancers give you the cruddiest work possible and expect you to pay for there time. BS there is no way I am going to pay for someones time if they give me a half attempted piece of crap and there is no way I would ask for payment if I gave someone rubbish work. Then these freelancers then leave negative Itrader etc

Also we do have day jobs so obviously be patient as I have also had bad experiences this way by people assuming I have run off etc.

So What I recommend and what I feel needs to happen is for DP members to exchange phone numbers etc and actually talk to each other before anything commences it has worked wonders for me. But I can assure you James is no scammer and he is truly dedicated to SEO and not just a SEO cowboy like most people on here.

 

yes, I ,too, dont think he is a scammer. but if he really is so busy then he must inform all his customers before such things happen. because when they happen before being warned then these kind of accusations are quite normal imo.

 

This boils down to communication. If the OP failed to communicate with the clients then it may be argued that they deserve a public discussion about their poor service. I have not used the service but when i do buy someones service i expect to be kept informed.
