Is there a certain amount of time you have to wait for the Quality Score to update after changing the URL of your AdGrop Ads?

Prior to creating a landing page filled with related keywords I was point the traffic to a page that had no keywords and in return my Quality Score was poor but since I added the new URL yesterday the Quality Score has not changed.

    Please help. Thank you!

Lading page is very important factor in increasing quality score 'coz that varies on the number of clicks from visitors on the keyword(s) you used on your ads. It doesn't take a certain time to have a good quality score, as long as you a good landing page and right keywords, you will definitely gain good quality score.

There is a waiting period but good luck finding out exactly how long it takes...it's another google secret.

I called Google and they couldn't give me an exact time frame, she said "it takes a while".

I personally think there should be a way to manually re test the index score, it makes no sense to have to wait because it costs us money but of course google knows that so perhaps its done this way on purpose...

You will see an improvement if your landing page has the keywords that relate to your ad and your keyword.

A good test is to use Googles Keyword advicer. Ask it to look at your new landing page and tell you what keywords it sees. If it reports the ones you are targetting then you will definitely see an improvement.

    Does that help?

    Cheers
    Mike

Thanks for the tip Mike, the keyword adviser tool is a great tool to use when testing landing pages. I'll try it and see what it says.
