Quality score in adcenter?

    Hi there,

I just started using MSN adcenter a couple of days ago and I was impressed when it first launched. However, traffic descreased gradually after 3 days (today) and I am wondering if there is something in adCenter similar to the quality score that may effect the ranking.

How does adcenter work? Is it the same "higher bid, higher CTR = higher ranking"? Does landing page or other factors count in here?

It is probably the weekend. Most of my accounts are slower on the weekend.

Usually in the weekends traffic tends to drop, though it all depends on what industries your keywords are in.

I saw an huge decline in traffic this weekend but I have contacted them so hopefully they can explain why. It has been a far bigger drop than previous weekends.

As for the CTR issue, yes they do take that into consideration but like Google we'll probably never know how much it influences ad position and CPC.

Actually, it seems that AdCenter does have a kind of quality score, for your campagains, but I believe that it has more to do with your CTR and your bid price than anything else. I'd guess it's more of a simple CTR * Bid Price = Quality Score (aka. Revenue) , but that's just a guess.
