This is the landing page of an ad showing on my site: recipes.finder.googlepages.com/recipe.html (not a live link on purpose) Quality? Yeah right!
Sure you can, until you reach your limit of blocked urls. That was not my point tho. I was just wondering why that BS isn's axed by QS.
Sometimes it just take a little while before the axe falls I once had an ad up for well over 6 months that had a gramatical error in it then all of a sudden the ad became inactive due to the error It took over 6 months for Google to catch it. Your example does surprise me though, I wouldn't doubt if Google Flags that one very soon assuming that is is running on the "search network" However, if it is only running on "Placement Targeting", Google doesn't give a Shi* about quality score and will display just about anythig
I've tried to filter out all the bs sites but it's to much time. I wish google would clean these up but I guess it's all green in their eyes.
If you have 10 websites on the same adsense account, 200 blockable urls are simply a joke. I ran out of space since september. Moreover, I'd like to spend my time for something more remunerative than going thru adsense preview tool and find out what kind of crap they are feeding me.
I agree that 200 website competitive filter is really short considering massive influx of useless MFA sites coming up everyday. These sites are so disgusting even a 2yr old can call them SPAM at first look. I honestly feel adwords should have a mechanism which crawls each ad target page and determine the quality first before approving the ad. Keep the MFA out of adwords/adsense for god sake.
