Would it possible for a competitor to pause/turn off their Adwords campaign and then run lots of keyword searches to incur impressions on particular keywords they want to bid on, reducing the CTR/QS of rival advertisers and then un-pausing/turning back on the account giving them a vastly superior CTR/QS score than their competitors? Any thoughts? I seem to be getting quite a few anomalies, where certain keywords seem to be getting a unrealistic number of impressions and therefore ruining the CTR of my campaigns.
Yikes, that would be someone with way too much time on their hands... I doubt anyone would be crazy enough to do that, but who knows.
