Quality Score - Bid Guide - Flying Blind!

    Guys, What's happended to the bid guide that used to be shown with the quality score? Looks like a scam by Google to get us to pay more. Do we have to fly blind now and guess?

    Sorry, not using the right term, by bid guide I mean the 'minumum bid' that was shown with the quality score.

    Google changed their system, so that instead of a minimum bid, there is now a minimum (they say estimated) bid to appear on page 1. At the moment, you can only see this by clicking on the magnifying glass next to a keyword, then looking at the details.

    Also, your Quality Score will now be calculated at search query level, rather than keyword level (important if you're using Broad Match).

    On an aside, I'd recommend that all users of Adwords subscribe to this blog - it's the only way to know in advance what Google are planning to do...

    perfect information. I discovered today though that they dont give this info for regionally targeted campaigns.
