Quality Score and page age

Would there be any advantage to waiting before starting a campaign directing traffic to a new page? The site is year old and has page rank but the page is new. Would minimum bid be the same if the page is new today or a few days old?

As far as I know Adwords doesn't pay any attention to the page rank of your website or any other SEO detail. So, yes the bid will be the same.

Let me know if I'm wrong.

Age of page and PR have no impact on CPC or quality score.

page age may help with organic seo but i don't think it gives you additional advantage when advertising with adwords

I started theorizing on this when I saw one site that I have that is old with content getting a little stale that had minimum bids at 0.05 or 0.10. A related campaign had some minimums that were that low but many were 0.50, 5.00, and 10.00. The two sites discuss products from two big companies that have no significant third rival but one site gets low miinimum bids the other gets higher. It would be like having a Coke site where you get cheap traffic and a Pepsi site that has very expensive traffic.

My theory was that the low min site is much older but I would say that the content would look better to a bot even though it is a bit stale.

then it's not the age of page which matters here rather the age of campaign/adgroup in question. :)
