Do you know the best way to build quality one way dofollow myspace backlinks. I have been in search for quite some time now with very little luck. If you can help please let me know. If you don't want to post the method public here please feel free to PM me the information.

Links from a Myspace profile won't have any search engine value because it is not a direct link.

just use any typical link building methods. for relevant links, sign up with few social sites like squidoo/hubpages/qassia, etc and publish few pages with your backlinks. you can setup accounts with some free hosted blogs and publish myspace related articles there as wel linking back to your site

although i never really tried MySpace for linkbuilding (my staff has but i dont know about the results yet) I don't think it's gonna be a good idea. Make sure:

    - The links are dofollow
    - The links go directly to your website and through some .php script!

If it seems fine, go and add friends like crazy to build up some linkpopularity to your MySpace profile.

Squidoo, MySpace and Qassia are OK.

However, as far as I can tell Hubpages are NoFollow!!!!

Yeah, I never understand why people recommend Hubpages, can someone explain? I only see a nofollow on all pages, even profiles.

no, you're not wrong. if you can find them in yahoo then they have value. how old was the blogpost you just showed me? if it's older than 1 month it has no value because spiders cannot reach it.

    Hi,

Not sure how old that post was, i have been posting so many I have lost track, but many of the eBay blog posts show up in the Yahoo Site Explorer results.

I have even been paying my nephew to set up eBay accounts and post to blogs

I am also trying to implement the following strategy, but not sure if it will have much ROI, but thought I would give it a bash. However, and feedback is welcome.

This is such a useful forum.

nephews can be expensive nowadays, try some of those Indians on here :D

your new strategy could work, but personally I never like showing publicly that I do linktrading. I especially do not list the website on it that im doing the marketing for.

Oh yeah, I never do linktrading ;)

Thank you for all the reply's. But i would just like to make one thing a little more clear. As it seems a few people think i am trying to build links to my myspace profile. That is not what i am trying to do. I would like to build high quality dofollow backlinks to my myspace layout resource site. I hope this is better explained:)

I thought all Myspace links are redirects, so they are no good for backlinking strategies.
