Web 2.0 would generally be something with reflections and glasys look, along with being plain and simple, lets say like the Logo of SKPE [WWW.SKYPE.COM]

ICONIC is something which would include symbols and say icon type pictures to portray the purpose of the brand, like say a healthcare website could have pills as their icon.....

i actually use a bit of both to create a bit of elegance...
