They exists. They do. I swear it. The problem is that it is so difficult to find a directory where pages deep within its structure have links or page rank.

You can find a list of directories that are ranked by supposed strength, but I don't think thats accurate.

The linked list uses the SEOmoz page strength tool, which is all fine and dandy for the homepage, but what about subpages, the ones that actually contain your link?

In order to compile a list of directories which would actually pass on link juice i propose to gather the following attributes:

    • Domain Links(yahoo!)
    • Pages in Google Index
    • Total number of pages found by an independent spider
    • A ratio of the previous two numbers
    • Average (median) difference of the current date, and the last date cached by Google (in the first 300 results or so)
    • number of pages with backlinks (in the first 300 results or so)
    • number of pages with PR (in the first 300 results or so)

Anyone know of a tool or combination of tools that could do this?
If you can think of a tool that will perform one of these functions - link to it.

Because I feel like I wouldn't have to waste my time paging through directories that didn't pass link juice if i knew off the bat which ones were good and which were complete crap.
