I never submitted my site to a less than PR6 directory. I have already submitted my site to dmoz. It takes about a month to process and requires no backlinks. I'm sorry but if you are just starting a directory and expect a link back in my website to your directory, I would not accept that offer, there are a 1000 directories like swedal, do you expect me to link back to them one by one? There are bigger directories without requiring a link back and it's free.

All of those pr6 directories originally started out as nothing. Financially speaking, you are better off submitting to these free, and in many cases, no pr directories. Why? Not only will many of them one day have pr, but they don't take months to approve listings!

Now I'm not saying to submit reciprocals with every directory. But to say that you have nevered submitted to anything below pr6 leaves your link building efforts limited in its effectivness.

No more than you expect a Quality directory to list your site.

I got blogtoplist list my site in 10 minutes and a linkback to them from my site in 10 minutes. I don't think submitting my site to smaller directories will be worth the effort. That's why I'm only asking for a referment to a quality directory.

This is just one messed up thread. I suggest the OP consider submitting the site to adult directories as the content suggests a pretty adult theme. Don't think too many "quality" directories are going to accept it.

In that case, you have a few options:

    1. dmoz - it will take about a year to find out that your site GETS REJECTED.
    2. botw - $239.95 one time fee
    3. yahoo - $299 one time fee

And guess what, neither one of those three gives a crap about your reciprocal link.

You could submit to not so established directories for free, or for a fraction of that cost and still get the same result. Instead, you are whining and crying about it, when your site itself is lacking establishment and quality. What makes you think directories want a reciprocal from you?

Just submit your site to new directories then when you will have some rating, you can submit it to DMOZ!!!

You must be joking my friend - with those indonesian girls the man has nothing to do with dmoz, botw, yahoo or any other established high PR directories.
The only suggested directories for such great  site are those with Pagerank 12 :D

Yahoo is $299 annually recurring, not one time.
