Hi I have a site that is run on a white label system, over the past month of tinkering I have managed to finally get it to be a profitable campaign and for the last 2 weeks sales have come flooding in. My problem is that now my quality score continues to drop, google suggests its that my landing page is not revelvant to some key words and my score has dropped to OK or poor on some terms. I have tried increasing the click price slightly and experimented with some new keywords but neither are working and Im unsure if there is much else I can do as the white label site runs the same for maybe 50 affiliates. Any thoughts?
Put the low quality scored keywords, into their own Ad Groups - 1 keyword to each Ad Group. Increasing the ads CTR, will help lower the K/W Quality Score - that's how it's working for me anyway. I had 3 keywords in 1 Ad Group last week .. one was getting a very good CTR and the other 2 wasn't. I took those 2 keywords out and within 48 hours the min bid had gone down quite a lot.
yes, break out your keywords into much smaller adgroups then create a targeted ad to each keyword QS should go up
Definitely weed out the junk that is dragging down your quality score and keep the good stuff in there.
Cheers guys.. I will implement the changes and report back. Clicks and positions have increased again today but still want to get the QS to great without changing the landing page as it was fine for well over a week.
Cheers guys..working fab touch wood, CTR sky rocketed, Cost gone down quite a bit and I have re written lots of very specific ads and only took a few mins :-D
