Hi dear friends, I'm an ezine expert author and a full time dedicated blogger/freelance writer . New to DP though. . As a beginner, I want to gain reputation here, and for this I'm offering copywriting/rewriting services for just $3/500 words now. All articles are of very high quality, copyscape passed, and unique. And I can also assure you the fastest TAT. And due to the increasing no: of frauds, I cant start writing without an upfront after placing the order. These are my prices for bulk order 1) 5 articles - $13.5 only 2) 10 articles - $36 only 3) 15 articles - $40 only (Assuming all are 500 words articles) If you are interested , kindly send me a mail with all your requirements to contentforyou339@gmail.com. Please avoid sending pms,i'm not checking it regularly. You can also check prices for fresh writing in my other posts. Thanks, Annie Richard
This is the wrong forum for this, but someone already addressed that. Honestly? You don't have to lower your rates to "gain a reputation." You shouldn't sell yourself short. There are other (and better!) ways of gaining clips to display in a portfolio and of getting clients. Starting out at a super low rate (don't let ANYBODY convince you that $3ish/500 words is fair. Ever) could actually work against you. It is far harder to raise your rates later on. Start where you think is fair for your time and effort. Potential clients will be far more respectful and appreciative of that than if you undermine your own authority and talent with super low rates.
Snarke: On your advice, it is something the OP should definitely read, and apply. It seems though, there is no place that the OP SHOWS proof - such as a website, like your site does a very good job with. For my add on: Forget Ezine expert--who is not. I have platinum, but that means really nothing. Some pay a $97 monthly fee,and get any junk published. Instead build a portfolio and join 6 writing organizations for a combo of proof and credibility. Then allow yourself to start moving upward your prices. At your rate, you are competing with software machines. If you are good, move away from the crowd that is not. ----------------do not fear losing business-----show faith in your abilities and it will show through-----
Annie, if you are a good writer, message boards are pretty close to the bottom of the barrel for getting jobs anyway. There are just way too many other sources to get real clients. And like Snarke said, you can get much higher prices. Think about starting out at at least $15 an article. It should be higher though, but that should be your minimum. If you are good, you will get it!
