While writing article for my site what are the things I should keep in mind?

Keep your keywords prevalent in your content that you write. Also more than 500 words is always key.

 

That really doesn't have much to do with writing quality content, you just need to make sure what your writing is useful, related and correct, no point in writing content which is useless, you need to provide content which people are going to want to read.

 

you should always look for a keyword that is less competitive and also has a good search which increase traffic into your site.
