Obama in the primary and Cheney in the national...Looks like the first female president is on the way

In reality, Cheney probably wouldn't get through a republican primary without the other candidates all having "accidents." Republican candidates better not take any hunting trips this season.

What makes me laugh about our foolish quail hunter with a very bad aim that shot his mate is that his mate apologized to the vice-president for the trouble the event had caused him and his family.

LMAO you couldn't make this up.

Maybe this is alternate way for Cheney to spend his time in the near future
    http://www.beyondchron.org/articles/It_s_Time_to_Impeach_Bush_and_Cheney_Seriously_4385.html

    Quote
Of course, any effort to impeach George Bush must simultaneously impeach Dick Cheney. Like his father, President Bush has pursued the cynical strategy of choosing a Vice President who is even more despicable than he is – discouraging any talk of impeachment. But with Cheney at the heart of every decision in the White House, it won’t be hard to find strong grounds to impeach him at the same time.

I just find it amazing that these tools have not been impeached yet.

It appears that when you have that much power that you are, quite literally, above the law.

It's the same with Tony Blair in the UK.

We allow these fools to ruin country's, lie to the public etc. but they get away with it every time. That is what is wrong with the world these days, allowing a small group of people too much power.

You have to break the law for that to happen. Like, Oh, I don't know... Lieing under oath like Clinton.

No one is above the law in the US. Just because the US government does something AGS does not like, does not make it against the law.

I agree. He's not above the law. And just because he does something AGS does not like does not make it against the law.

Yeah, the whole world is just wrong... It's always someone else's fault. Seek some help for your anger man.

Cheney has said time and time again that he will not run...plus that is the reason Bush chose him...Cheney wanted to focus his time on being VP, not running for the presidency. Wish the same could be said for the dems, but they don't care about the people they are representing, they only care about trying to get in the white house (look at the campaigns of clinton and osamabama, how much time have they spent on the trail vs. time in the congress?)

I find your use of the name of my God as a swear word to be offensive and hateful. If you would stop, I would appreciate it.

Technically, no. The impeachment proceeding is an investigation into the possibility that someone has broken the law, and a full impeachment is a formal charge. Innocent people are brought before the grand jury fairly often. So technically for a president to be impeached, you just need enough people to want a full investigation of if he has broken the law (or his oath) or not.

I will try my best sir, just because it's you. Remember though that I am using it as an expression though and not a swear word.

Agreed.. What's worse is doing it on Easter Sunday. Shame on you AGS you hateful mean person.

Actually the Impeachment the first part of a two part process for removing a government official from office. Clinton was indeed impeached for lying under oath, though not convicted (which is the second part of the process which would mean his removal.) He was not removed from office however, which would have been the next logical step in the process where as Clinton was concerned.

Thank you for pointing that out.

Thank you for agreeing to make the attempt. I do appreciate it.

However if I said to D16, "A G FUCKING S how in the hell can you think that way?" would you think it to be more an expression, or treating your name like a curse phrase/word?

Right. To bring a formal charge and bring a defendant to trial, you first go before a grand jury to bring the charge so that you can have the trial it's self. Impeachment is similar to the grand jury portion. They brought formal charges, but never proceeded to the removal/conviction step, which I find incredibly odd.

To be completely honest with you it wouldn't bother me in the slightest mate.
It's just words dude. But yes it would be an expression, that you would be entitled to express. :)

In this sub-forum, it is my opinion that You and GTech are the most known personalities on one side of most debates, and AGS and GWorld on the other side of most.

So since I was using AGS on one side of the example, I figured I should use you or GTech as the other side of the example. :p
