Any more data/updates for us Critter on this - I *do*like the space savings of this from a design point of view.

    Seriously, this is revolutionary.

I copied my add format from another site and have 10x my CTR. Seriously this THE best ad positioning you can do currently. Try to sue images above the adsense that are relevant to your site.

In my new SELaplana blog, I applied your technique of using images. The only difference is that the ad is in Large Square. So, I placed the images on the left side of the Adsense ad.

But here, the images I used are images of AMAZON with LINK ENHANCER with it. I posted a blogpost about it at Adsense Anti-Invalid Click System in order for you to understand how these images work with adsense.

With regards to the result, The Ads are working well for the said blog.

hey, what do you guys think of this image placement and everything about it. Is it correct or it's really borderline or over it?

I just visited "Draw A Pig" and noticed the 4 unit leaderboard is now back above the fold with no images.

    What happened?

    Thanks,

Right now, visiting the site again, we can see 10 very small images instead of 4. According to Critters' tests to reduce ad blindness, it seems that the specific number of images doesn't matter.

But of course, as said many times, you need some differentiation between ads and images, like a border, line or different background color, to make clear to users that they are reading ads, and therefore to keep good conversions for advertisers and a favorable smart pricing.

Yup... This concept is violating the TOS. You should reconsider using it in the future. It draw unintentional click to your ads.

well, I'm currently using border so there should not be anything wrong about it.
The image aren't so much related to the subject so it should not violate the TOS.

Great idea. I wish I could find somewhere to use the same thing in my site.

    Any suggestions?

i will be nice if someone could make a script that recognize the
keywords from the ads and displays an image ( from a database )
that corresponds to that keyword in the ad.

This info isn't going to help you make real money with Adsense. An interesting read regarding ad layouts, but the REAL secrets to making money with Adsense easily and quickly from scratch aren't divulged anywhere in this huge 48 page thread so if your a newbie search for the Adsense holy grail you find it here. Sorry to say. Some good info though. I have used some of the tips to help make more more money with Adsense but the results wern't very substancial or groundbreaking.

I want to thank Critters and all the helpful DP folks, I have doubled-tripled (depending on the day) my CTR for my parenting site. My traffic has been increasing exponentially as well, due to the popular 'Animal School Movie' (purple button towards buttom) that has gone madly viral, so I have earned more from Adsense in the past 2 weeks than I did in the prior 3 months... Thanks!

DP ROCKS! (now if only I could get off of it long enough to get more work done, lol...)
