It possibly could be that his CTR went up too high too quick and was suspended while it is investigated. However, seeing as how the pictures are gone, it is most likely something else.

I just visited a page within the Desktop Creatures site and I am very sad to report that I found the dreaded "empty white box" at the bottom of the page. That white box only means one thing.

I am hoping there's another explanation here. I think we can all agree that "Critters" is one of the good guys, and he certainly doesn't deserve being "disabled."

Yes there is nothing to suggest it isn't in the TOS.

Yes, I saw the white box of death on his site too, now I don't see anything to suggest adsense has been on the site. Is that what your ads looked like too AmCy when you got unfairly banned?

Critters has done alot to help people increasing their CTR, and he certainly didn't seem like the kind of person who clicked his own ads or doing anything anti-TOS.

If he has been banned, I hope he didn't just get his income from adsense, then he will have a big problem with costs as those sites from what I remember are very popular.

"Critters" got email confirmation from a flesh-and-blood member of the G AS Team. He posted about it in this thread somewhere. But if I were you, I would email G anyway, so that you can save the reply and send it back to them if they try to "disable" your account at some point in the future.

After I starting using the pics idea and noticed the increase in CTR I asked Google to look at the page and confirm that there was nothing against TOS. I think others did too. I got a reply to say there was no problem so whatever has happened to Critters, it is not because of the pics being placed near the ads.

I really hope you are wrong Amcy. Critters, as you said, is one of the good guys. Hope he drops by soon to let us know what is up and if he´s okay.

I just started adsense today I don't think there will be any increase in CTR as I don't have any previous data. Anyone care to comment on my site's ad placements? How can they be improved?

Yes, that's how it looks when AS ads have been disabled on a particular website. No PSA, just a white box with the same dimensions of the original AS ad.

Could be "Critters" still has an active account and they only disabled that particular site for some reason.

Unfortunatly I checked out his Crazy Frog game (which is quite addictive) and that too had the white box and now it's gone, no sign of adsense. It doesn't look good but hopefully there is some reasonable explanation for the ads orignally been white now gone.

PS Anyone who is wondering, the images above ads are not against the TOS, it has been comfirmed.

I really didn't want to read that. I'm getting butterflies in my stomach, like I'm reliving my "account disabled" experience over again. This stinks.

Does 'Critters' has any other websites we can check to see if his google ads appear on that site? I do believe we could be jumping the gun... maybe he is just re-vamping his site... I do think he will post here to let us know... Got my fingers crossed.

I am having this EXACT problem and I just started putting adsense on my website today! I can show one ad but my second ad on the same page is just a white box. I emailed Google already, am I in trouble already?? I don't see how this could be possibly happening. Does anyone see anything remotely questionable on my site?

I looked at them and saw the white box under the famous images over ads. That is the only other seperate domain I know of where he runs adsense.
