Yeah, not sure what happened. They were normal gaming ads, but then all of a sudden all the ads on the front page turned in PSA's ... weird! Anyways ..I also added an Adsense Links thing down in the footer ... any suggestions on it?

    Hello,
    good advice thank you.:)

I will change the pictures and will make also Adsense under it. But can someone help me to find a picture rotator for Mambo (4.51 /4.52) for 4 Pictures and not in a Modul (left, right, User1 ....). I need it for the template or/and for the content. I have already tried some random rotators, but they didnt fit good.
I have seen here some of you are also working with Mambo.
    Please help.

    LG Wally

CTR is fine but what about conversion to sales? Does it affect that?

    Hello Grandmac,

I'm not so sure we care about sales when we are talking about A/S. It's all about the clicks.

Check out post 319 in this thread, on page 33 I think
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=239140&postcount=319

2 people I know of have reported a decrease in CPM, hard to say if it is related to the images, but just read up on Googles "smart pricing"

AND, OMG, owning this forum :)

Thats OK, its a monster of a thread, I would not be able to read it all in one sitting :) When I have a few more things tested I will write it all down on a single page somewhere and link to it from here.

Looks alright Brian. Though it doesn't really match up with the design/content of the overall site.

content is completly different on every page, site was displaying wallpaper ads on the main page, so I put up some cool pictures people would like to use for their desktop.

Looks a bit better. Again I'd prefer larger images, but we all use what fits. It does appear that the background on the images is a slightly different color than that of the page though.

What images will you normally recommend for a forum site, given the fact that the topics can be of varying nature in a forum?

mine is a computer help site: [nourl]www.nibbleguru.com[/nourl]

ps: i am trying various things and ad formats since last 2 days so you may different things at different times, but yeah, the ads are being shown. many of my pages have a ctr < 0.5. where some are between 1% and 2%.
