    I implemented this strategy on my forums which has a VERY LOW ctr. I'll give it a couple of weeks and report back.

    I'm not sure if you can just grab any images found on Google Images and use them on your site.. some of the owners may not like that?

    I use stock photos for the most part.

    Critter - Great post topic. I love your signature.

    nice, but the alignment is a little off, need to be more spaced out so the bottom one is in line with the bottom ad. :)

    They tend to shift a bit no matter what you do. It depends on how many lines each ad is using at the time.

    to be honest, it does not look related to the ad, more related to the text on the right, cos of the spacing.

    if you put it in its own table, so there is a blue gap between the image+pic and the other text that would help. make sence? if not I can photoshop it up for you.

    Those pics don't seem to go together. It looks kinda strange to me to see clip art mixed with photos. I would go with one or the other, or realistic looking icons .

    Anyone come up with php code to shuffle the images? I just started this method, but I can definetly tell if I have new images come up often the CTR will remain higher.

    I think someone offered that in another thread a while back.

    I checked out your fishing site. Very nice! It was funny though one of your Adsense ads was for sexy Mexican singles.

    I'm writing a small php code now that will pull images from a bucket. In the bucket I'm going to have about 50 "Curious" images. I'll post when I'm done.

    I've got a pretty decent system working right now, but it's not quite ready for use by others yet. Here's the relevant code for grabbing images. It returns an array of images. Should be pretty easy to follow.

    	function get_image(){

    		// Prepare an array
    		$adimages=array();
    		// Build the path for the adsense images
    		$adimages_path="images/ads-140x100/";
    		// Now read all images in the source dir
    		if (is_dir($adimages_path)) {
    		if ($dh = opendir($adimages_path)) {
    		while (($file = readdir($dh)) != false) {
    		if (preg_match("/[a-zA-Z0-9_-]+\.(jpg|gif)/", $file)) {
    		array_push($adimages, $file);
    		}
    		}
    		}
    		}
    		// Check if we have some images...
    		if (count($adimages) >= 4) {
    		shuffle($adimages);
    		$adimage[0] = $adimages_path.$adimages[0];
    		$adimage[1] = $adimages_path.$adimages[1];
    		$adimage[2] = $adimages_path.$adimages[2];
    		$adimage[3] = $adimages_path.$adimages[3];
    		}

    		return $adimage;
    	}
