No. There will be no performance gain, and probably a reduction in performance, but maybe not enough to notice. I wouldn't see any point in moving to a server of that spec from the one you have.
+1 for what Ron Said. the one you have is perfectly fine compared to the one you are thinking about getting.
no performance gain with new config. possibly reduction in performance. may i know whats your budget?
That I3 can probably host your website just fine, the performance could be a bit less but 150k wordpress pv's should be possible without any problems. If it makes a big difference financially I would make the switch. I run around 125k wordpress pv's/day (200k simple php/perl, 30k wp and 30k phpbb) on a Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU 3050 @ 2.13GHz with 160 gb hdd and 1 gb ram on nginx+php-fpm and the load is generally 0.3-0.5 Try using the top or uptime command in ssh to see what the current load is on your server.
Thanks to all. I've Setup-ed Intel Q8400 Quad Core (4) 2.66GHz, 4GB RAM, 1,000GB SATA2 with nginx+php-fpm+mysql and the load is very less, my site now more fast than previous.
