    Hey all,

Since the new algo 50% of my keywords in this one campaign has a QS1 and shows a min bid of $10 in Adwords Editor. Before when I got Google slapped all the keywords would show a min bid of $10 but now its only some keywords in the campaign so am not sure if this is an actual slap and I should get a new domain or should I just work on improving the current landing page?

    Help anyone?

We are trying to improve our landing page and follow the guidelines of google regarding the landing page. I'll inform you if it worked or not.

I would get a new domain UNLESS the domain name is part of your brand. Eg Nike.com v CheapShoes.com. I would keep Nike but buy a new one if my domain was the latter.

    I'm going to disagree.

A new domain means restarting the business in a lot of cases, that's throwing the baby out with the bath water.

Yes, you need to work hard to improve the relevance of your landing page(s) and the second thing you need to do is work hard at your adwords campaign. Quality scores are now updated live, so adwords adjustments will have an immediate effect, unfortunately, landing page adjustments will take more time to register.

Start by tightening your keyword clusters. Look at every adgroup and think are the keywords in that adgroup 2 (or more) different themes? Then your clusters are not tight. You need to break everything down into the smallest possible group.

Then write relevant, keyword rich, legible ads.

Then do landing page adjustments, once you know where it's going.
