    Hi,

I am new in google adwords so my knowledge about adwords is very very poor.
What is QS? And is it important for ad position?

    Thanks

    Hi,

QS is quality score and is very important. It's all about relevancy. If your site is all about growing a lawn and you have discovered that the best keyword for you is 'perfect lawn' then ideally your site would be called perfectlawn.com, your ads title would be 'perfect lawn', your page title would be perfectlawn.com/perfectlawn.html (often overlooked) and 'perfect lawn' would appear in the headline at the top of the relevant landing page. Google would then, I guarantee, give your keyword a very high quality score.

    Hope this helps

As NonGeeK suggests, and it can then contribute to a lower CPC (cost per click) like google rewards the relevancy, basically your efforts to provide exactly what the searcher/visitor expects when they reach your landing page.

I would add to this that for a newbie, you will not see QS by default in your ad campaign - you will need to go to Customise Columns when at the adgroup level and show Quality Score.
