I am a novice to buying domains and selling them, though I am interested in developing some sites. Yesterday, I purchased these three domains. I had been thinking about other ones until I finally had the clarity to make it extremely simple. Anyhow, I've used multiple free domain appraisal services and I've seen everything from a single domain being valued at $0 - just under $36,000. Does anyone have any idea how these numbers are calculated? The most reasonable ones I thought were one placing the value in the lower/mid-thousands and to the one closer to $36,000 (albeit by no means do I expect to sell it at that price), but only because it wasn't zero and given the phrase has been used on almost every 24-hour news channel and news website over the last two or three weeks. I figure that a lot of the appraisal sites only figure in Alexa stats, unique visitors, and back links. But, I think the value in the domain lies in the fact that it's apparently a fairly popular search term/phrase and broad enough to refer to both Koreas, as well as a unified Korea. Do these appraisal services factor in Google Trends often or at all? While I was originally thinking of selling all three, I think I'd actually like to keep the .org and create a website out of it. Could anyone tell me what you think the true value of these URLs are (without content or development)?
