Yah, yah, yah.... change logo, remove border... What all that has to do with site content you two trolls? Not to mention, if you had any brains, you would explain why and what is wrong with logo and border. fastreplies
Well, not much to say, its a simple directory, i must say it is easy to navigate, but the colors look too outdated in my opinion, also i would suggest you to change your logo, it looks like a 5 minutes llogo, also, the white behind the logo makes it look bad, maybe if it didnt have that white it woul lookk better.
Agreed, the white behind the logo makes your site look unprofessional. If you did the logo yourself then all you need to do to get rid of the white is when saving logo as .gif there is a option to select the "matte" change this colour to the background colour the logo is going to sit on. Other then that your site is very useful and easy to navigate. This site is something I will be using it in the future
Other people have offered feedback on the visual design. However, mine is about the site's content and functionality. This information isn't terribly useful...it's just statistics. What I'd really love to see is some editorial content, and some commentary. Even if it's just a paragraph on each directory, I'd find this really valuable / useful, especially if the commentary was relevant and of high quality. Pagerank and Alexa rank say very little about a page. For example, the pagerank of a site's homepage may have little relevance: some sites have pagerank 0 or N/A of most deep pages, whereas others (like EzineArticles) have PR 1, 2, or higher of a very large number of deep pages. Similarly, Alexa rank says little. For example, I've found some pages have most of their traffic from India (which, sadly, is often a sign that it's mostly spammers using the site, attempting to promote their own sites--even if it's not, it certainly makes the site less useful if you are trying to reach a US-based audience). I'm less interested in how many people are viewing a site and more interested in who is viewing it and why. I'm also interested in questions like--is this site or directory actually effective for driving traffic? You can't always tell that by looking at stats like PR and Alexa rank. Basically, offer more value!
Well, it looks like you never click "Info" link Next time you try to be "objective" and not just sound "smart" check all site over. The real question is, if that site has been offering more value than any other sites in the same field or not and not what role PR and Alexa playing in site popularity. fastreplies
