Apparently I sold an account to a dp member he paid me i have my money still.

The money he sent to me was recieved from another dp member inwhich he sold his account.

But that member scammed him by setting payment to unauthorized so he's in -money but it won't affect me right?

I still have the money for my account i sold.

Does your paypal account give you any reason to believe otherwise? Off the cuff, I don't think it will affect you unless the party attempts a chargeback. Look into your paypal account and it'll give you an indication of whether you've been affected or not -- the transaction will note something other than completed.

So you are saying you sold an account and another member received your payment and then forwarded that payment to your PayPal account right? And then sender filed a dispute for unauthorized access?

IF this is the case then most likely you won't get affected but PayPal could always check for that.

Something like this happened to me 8-9 months ago when I exchanged Egold and the guy paid me via PayPal. I immediately transferred funds to another PayPal. The guy filed a dispute and after few days PayPal took money from the 2nd account. So with PayPal you never know ....

Yep disguised, it was like this i had an account for sale, he bought it with the money he got by selling his account.

i got payment but later on the guy he sold his account to is scamming him by claiming.

So i get to keep my money?

BTW paypal called me about why im getting so much money i answered him honestly and he said that's fine i won't limit your account thank you.

so i already dealed with paypal in phone today, the rep said everything is fine.

In my case It took them one week + to take money out of my friend's account. So there still is a chance that PayPal reverses your payment but you can never be sure. Did you tell PayPal about the recent issue of chargeback??

no nothing, i never had any chargeback.

it was this that happened disguised:
person 1 bought person 2's account, person 2 bought my account

person 1 now scamming person 2 sitting unauthorized.

i still have my money and no paypal messages about anything with reversing.

Yes and I was talking about the same thing. Misinterpreted

I was saying did you tell them what happened with person 2 (charged back) and person 2 paid you with the money (sent by person one). Try to ask Paypal because in my case I sent money to my friend's account and even deleted the PayPal that guy sent money to. But PayPal still reversed the money. This is what I was trying to tell you.

Well I'll suggest you to call PayPal and tell them the story and see what they say about this. This could help more members here too

don't worry ill update here on what happens i have the person i sold my account to on msn. Let's see if he wins his dispute or not because apparently the person who bought his account may be his real verified paypal he attempted to claim money back by using option unauthorized.

    we'll see what happens :)
