    Hello,
I prepare to launch a very tiny ecommerce, and i have this question that keep bussing me all the time, if I use any Ecommerce systems, like Magento or Opencart, will they precesse paiment by credit card automaticly, or do i have any sort of service to buy?
For the moment i only have a paypal account, so what my chances?

You need to accept and process the credit card payment by your own.
Try to use paypal or psbill.com

As long as you have a premier or business account. You just pay the normal paypal fees to receive credit card payments. Personal accounts can only receive 5 credit card payments a year. Paypal is the number one online payment processor, of course they will feel secure.

Depending on what you are selling, you may want to give your customers a choice of PP and CC's. Not everyone uses PP, likes PP, feels comfortable with PP or trusts PP....same with 2CO, WP and all the rest. Also, some businesses look amateurish if all they accept is PayPal or the "3rd party" payment processors...a death knell to the site.

I guess you fail to realize that customers can pay with their credit card without joining paypal.

I am quite aware that customers can pay with their credit card without joining PayPal, however some people still prefer not to use the Paypal system at all.

The cart software only provides the mechanics for have a shopping cart and eventualy connection the checkout procedure to a merchant. Hence, no, the software by itself won't allow you to process any credit card payments. You will need a merchant account that will be connected to your cart and fired upon checkout for handling the credit card payment. There usualy (but not necessarily) are 2 paths:
-you choose the merchant that suits your needs best (regarding TOS, fees, etc) and then look for a cart software that supports it
-you choose a cart software that suit your needs best (regarding options, capabilities, etc) and then pick a merchant from its supported list

As about paypal, due to your question, I may assume it is a small or just starting up shop, case in which paypal might actualy be a better choice for you. You can run a test and see what's the percent of failed checkout paths (visitors reaching the checkout page vs. visitors actually checking out and paying). One other thing you should consider is that merchant fees (in case you wanna stick away from paypal) are pretty high which might be a total turn off for a small business shop.
