Pyramid Linking - a new way to build static, one way links for free

This is a very interesting idea. May I ask a question.

Because of the nature of my site, I have a rule that say "We will not exchange links with any gambling, gaming, pornographic or other doubtful sites (i.e. promiscuous dating sites; occult, dark music)." So if you suggest - say 10 sites, but I only select 9 of them, will an alternative one be an option to me.

How have people who have subscribed to this program feel it has worked thus far? Have you received lots of relates sites with some PR linking to you.

 

Pyramidlinking was a great site that got totally wasted. Hope the new owner learned from this mistake.

 

Balls, i just added a bunch of links to my site from this and now found this thread and it looks like i wasted my time. Harrumph.

Surely a better system would allow you to accept or reject each of the links you are offered to put on your site anyway - half the ones i've got go to domain parking pages.

 

a better system is on its way very soon. none of this pyramid stuff that will collapse eventually becuase it will barely be able to contain itself.

 

OK I have signed up - but there needs to be changes if it is to be taken seriously.

There is an option to regenerate links - however there needs to be careful and strict monitoring.

For example - when I chose the 10 link option - in some cases there were repeat links

But the other danger occurs - there are links NOT in the chosen category, for example - in the Education category, there are links generated for completing online surveys or other things unrelated to education - The website owner needs to ensure that this sort of thing does not happen - and that can only be done by close monitoring. I do understand that some people can put their web under the wrong heading and that can be because of their own lack of understanding, but I suspect it is more of trying to get their link exposed at all cost - if so - that is cheating.

It takes a lot of generating to get something satisfactory, and I haven't got there yet - Some sites I get listed do not exist.

I'm still trying till I get a list I am happy with though I don't think I am likely to be happy.

 

Be much easier to use Link Vault wouldn't it?

I'd recommand the CO-OP instead of this "link vault".

Ok, just keep on adding links to it.

But the program is dead. You aren't going to get anything out of it...

 

The new owner of the site let it die. He hasnt been on his support forum since MAY - what a friggin waste.

 

Yeah it was a huge waste...cuz the concept was great.

 

Also, my lunch blog lost a load of PR (went from 3 to zero) after I added some pyramid links to it. Not worth the effort. I'm going to remove the links now.

I removed all my links, the system seems dead. oh well.

Receivelinks and link vault are better anway IMO.

 

So this site is useless now and I should not waste my time, is that the idea that people are trying to tell us. I signed up but am skeptical now after reading more of this thread.
