Sorry for the somewhat hard to understand title. Just a bit puzzled. The situation is this. I have a co-worker who regularly checks my blog and has clicked on some ads in the past (he told me). Recently I created an entirely new blog on Blogger talking about entirely new topics (food adventures in NYC, if you really want to know), and sent him the new link. He looked at it, saw an interesting ad (about NYC nightlife), got curious, and clicked. So in my Adsense report the click shows up, but no income. Is it because Google "flags" him (or his machine) as a regular to my blog already, even though in this case his click was on a different site?
I've received 2 such clicks on 2 different blogs last week on 2 different days. I have thousands of "regular" readers who hit the various blogs at least 3 times a month, and I doubt any of them are friends, coworkers or family. I have no problem with the $0.00 income from those 2 clicks, they could have been AdSense publishers that came from here, or who knows what. Google has its reasons for not paying me for those clicks, so I'll accept it. If I accidentally clicked a link on someone's site and they received nothing, it is probably reasonable for Google not to charge the advertiser. Don't worry about it. Work on getting 20 or 30 clicks from people you don't know. The $0.00 clicks will be forgotten.
