[Putty] How to delete a line or chars from a folder with putty?

    Hi,

    Per accident, i copied the following in a folder with putty

    \t 248.20.xx.xxx:80>

    How do i delete this??

    use nano /ur/file/path/file.txt edit the line and use ctrl+x to save

    i dunno what u copied but to delete a folder use this command

    rm foldername
