Putting text ad next to image ad?

    Is Putting text ad next to image ad allowed?

    For example 300 x 250 image ad on the left and 300 x 250 text ad right next to the image ad.. Is this allowed?

    yes, if you put an image next to an ad, that image needs to be an advertisement or google will disapprove the ad placement.

    Exactly. If it is an image of your own then you will get banned from adsense. The only reason to choose image ads is to place them next to text ads. Give it a try and see how it performs :). Yes, using google text ad and image ad is not against the TOS.
