Putting tags on blog posts works as keywords in search engines?

    I wanted to know if tags used in blog posts will help, when the same keyword is
    entered in search engines, to find my blogs?

    Mmm, I don't think they will help at all. Google just wants you to get other sites to link to you, your pages to have low visitor bounce rates, and for you to have good keywords in your title tag, they don't care about a few words on your page.

    I saw that google index my page with different tag. So it is work i think.

    it helps but not so much
    according to seomoz.org it only has a percentage of important about 35%,

    I think if you show tags on your posts they do get indexed by search engines.

    Tags are meant for that purpose , So it will definately help
    if they are dislayed then they are scaned once indexed by Search Engines
