I've been waiting but figure to just get into it now even though I don't have the amount i want saved. Heres some questions I have. 1. Are there any Adwords coupons? Or any others I should be looking for? 2. What are things I should do while creating my landing page? 3. I know many people don't share there landing pages, but what would be considered a GOOD landing page and why? 4. How many pages should my landing page have? 5. Would Earth4Energy or TruthAboutAbs be good for a beginner? 6. Since I don't have much for PPC at the moment, what would be the best way to advertise? 7. I've seen some landing pages which have about 4 pages 1 being the privacy policy.. is this needed?
1) Coupons? Probably not, but if so research and find out 2) SEO your page, put in keywords you plan on using 3) a good landing page is something that converts, know how to sell to your crowd! 4) Umm, if your using PPC then your landing page should be 1 page...no more then 2 or 3 at the most 5) Are you serious? Pick a product that your comfortable with! 6) SEO, Organic traffic, bum marketing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 7) Privacy policy is only good for ranking, it gives your site more value Dude you ask alot of questions. Stick to the important stuff and research the rest.
You are practically asking how to create the most effective and well converting landing page... if so.. you really need to take slow steps.. and learn the basics..
One that performs well. It's empirical. It's good if it works well. The people with landing pages that perform well have nearly all learned what performs well for them by repeated trial, error and split-testing. It's not something quick or easy to "get right". The conventional wisdom is "one". As a beginner myself, these are two products that I definitely wouldn't touch. Their gravity is far too high for me. Far too much competition from people who (unlike me) have loads of experience and know what they're doing. Certainly not a market I could realistically hope to compete in, as a newbie. It's a plus, in a way, not to have much for PPC, because the learning-curve with that is typically long, slow and expensive anyway; at least this way you can't lose a lot of money in the learning process. I'm going to try article marketing, a "review-site" blog, ezine advertising, forum posting, SEO, and approaching some people with lists on a joint venture basis.
Concentrate on good headings - best are questions. Benefits and more benefits More benefits Call to action (maybe even more than once) Then test the page against another version and retest and then get the best conversion... that's what I do....
I might have a couple extra coupons laying around. PM me with what youre looking for (adsense, adcenter, yahoo, etc).
