putting a site map to another site on a site?

Hi,

I just had an idea and was wondering what you guys think of this. I have 2 recipes related sites, and each has few enough pages to fit the site map into one page. Would it be a bad idea to put a special site map page on both sites that contians links to every page of the other site?

Sounds a bit spammy though.

 

I put a sitemap up in a pdf file on my prweb press release. I don't know if that's what did it, but my site had 3 pages indexed in google on April 1st. Now it varies between 700 and 4200, but my point is that it can't hurt.

 

It works wonders, I do this many times and it never fails.
