Hey everyone I recently (well, about 2 weeks ago) coded by own Contact Form and verification script. You can find it here: http://talkprice.net/contact/. I have asked people to use it to contact us, but...sadly, not many people are interested in using it. So far, I have gotten about 4 messages from people. Well, 3 of those 4 are from spammers either advertising their own blog or trying to sell...well, stuff...to me. I was just wondering if you could check out the Contact page, maybe even send me a message through it (reading the rest of the thread wouldn't be too bad either ... Mainly, I'm just curious if I should put a Captcha and if I should, how should I do it? I already have it so that a Name, Subject, and Message are required. Thanks a lot! Jake
There are plenty of free ones but given it will put off genuine people but not those spamming (only spam bots) I personally wouldnt consider putting one on until a time that you get hit by an issue. It is possible to use less interfering methods on using javascript and timing etc that will help stop bots (but not personal spammers) and only cause issues for the 1% ish of people that have javascript turned off
