Just seen a man walking his dog with a website url(for a dog food company) printed on the dogs coat I thought it was a pretty cool idea and I'm wondering what other people have seen or can think of. I look for out of the box wacky ideas that could well work
Dogs would work for petfood, but aren't likely to work for other niches. You oculd print out flyers and do around to train stations, ether leaving them on the train seets or under the windscreen wiper of the cars parked there. A pharmacutical company does that around here.
digitized i use business cards that i leave on train seats and i usually pick up 1 or 2 sales a week from this i leave a code on the card for discount postage so i know that they found my business card ( i just change code weekly )
My girlfriend has a rabbit. I wonder what she would think if I printed my blog url on it? I would try some of those methods here, but I'm stuck in a country that has horrible English standards.
There's loads of novel ways of promoting your URL: 1. Tattoo it on your mums face and send her shopping 2. Write it on your body and run around your town naked 3. Paint it on your house (and other people's) 4. Do a poo in a public toilet, then use it to write your URL on the walls 5. Sing your web address at X-Factor trials (act like your a mental so you get through to about the 3rd/4th stage). 6. Write something stupid to offend or make people laugh and hide your url somewhere subtle in the post
I am interested in your method of leaving cards on train seats how many do you have to leave to get a sale. I know in the U.K. your probaby get into hotwater if you walked though a train and put one on every seat. O.k. to leave the odd casual one but would that give you any response One idea I had once to get some stickers printed with my url on and everytime I donate some old books to charity stick one inside the cover.
