    Hi and welcome to my thread about if this then that. (ifttt.com)

    Ifttt.com is a site where you can select a this task and a that task. For example: This = Wordpress --> Whenever you post a new post on Wordpress, and that = Facebook fanpage, Copy the content to my facebook and add a link to my post.

    It is very simple.

    #1 Create the this task

    #2 Select a trigger (I selected wordpress)

    [​IMG]

    #3 Create the that task

    [​IMG]

    #4 Select a trigger (I selected email)

    [​IMG]

    Now I can create the task:
    http://webmasterstore.net/images/end.png

    Now everytime I post a new post on my wordpress blog, I will get an email with all the content so I have a nice backup.
    There are 703 possible task combinations so have fun guys!

    i think this tool is good for special blogs (with niche). but for personal blogs is better to post manual updates (my followers don't like automation updates).

    I use it also for my personal blog, just to copy the whole content to posterous.
