Please tell me how much would it cost to purchase a link on Home page of PR6 site (the site frequency doesn't make much difference)? This is a web-design site. Will it cost less if I purchase the link for a year?
Yes most of the time it will cost less if you purchase it for the year. I purchased a link before that was $10 a month or could get it for $100 for the year. So it is usually a pretty decent discount.
Only PR boosting? Will it lead to the target keyword boosting too? For example, I placed the link: MyKeyword on the PR6 site. Will "MyKeyword" get a boosting higher ranking than before?
Of course the anchor text you use will also impact on your keyword ranking in SERP's. I wouldn't go as far to say that's cheap either. If you shop around a bit you could probably get something nearer the $200 margin rather than the $300 one.
I would not just buy a PR6 link, I would mix it up with several other related, different kind of links. Like InContent Links, Blog Posts, Articles etc.
If you're going to pay for a link, make sure of the following: - It doesn't "look" paid for - You can select your own anchor text - The PR isn't forged - You have a contract that states how long the link will appear That will be sure to maximize your value for your money. I look at these factors whether I'm spending $1 or $1000.
About 2 years ago I was inquiring about how much does a link on statcounter.com's home page cost. At the time it had PR10 (but not 8, like it has now). And the link costed 10000 euro per month!!! At that the site has more than 10 external links on its home page ..I don't understand how can a link on PR6 site cost $300 per year?
It costs $300 a year with 20 external links... thats >$30 a month... Why is it so much? pr 6 will boost your SERP like crazy (if u know what you are doing)
The only thing is a PR6 is hard to achieve and it would more than likely be on a website that has a good rep and I wouldn't think they would be selling off links. I would check with a few different sources to make sure their PR is now forged as I have seen this more and more as of late to sell links than dump the website.
As you go up each pagerank it gets exponentially harder to get to the next one. There were probably 20 or so pr10 sites in the world back then, so they could charge what they liked and someone would pay it. They ended up losing their PR because of it though, and had to make all their link sales nofollow. price per year depends on a huge number of things, heres a few off the top of my head: location of the link does the site link out to non related sites? niche of site is the site being actively promoted? (if not you are risking PR falling) number of links on the page
I don't think the PR6 site will give you a dofollow link. But, if it is dofollow, then I think it is more than $300 worth.
the PR5+ links will help you to get good rank and more traffic. You can get it in range from $100 to $300. http://www.minervait.com
