You could start threads here at Digital Point asking questions about affiliate program advertising and have links in your sig... o you already did Also.. any 'webmaster' forum or website, i.e. if you had the money you could advertise on shoemoney's blog which is full of web site owners trying to make some money online

Consider buying some AD space on product related websites/services. Reputable AD agencies will not allow affiliate links in their ads, so you would have to create a landing page for your affiliate product. If you need sales try worth with Adwords for search and Adcenter. Also content links work a little bit for me, other means of advertising just don't bring any sales as they should.
I have a landing page and I have banners to advertise my program as well - there is no trouble. It is not about generally advertising it is Purchasing advertisement space -
