purchased domain - transfer to godaddy acc.

    hey, i just purchased a domain here on dp and it is reg'd at godaddy.

    what info. do i need to supply to the seller in order to transfer it to my acc?

    i have my username and customer no. is there anything else i need to give?

    can anyone who has transferred a domain at godaddy before plz tell me?

    They made major changes earlier this year.
    If they still need an "address", you can give the seller 123 Main st, MyTown, USA (for example), and then use your real info later. Some people prefer to be cautious, so you don't have to give all your info to DP members.

    Create account on the Godaddy and start transferring. That is always easy inside registrar transfers and then decide leave the domain name there or transfer further.

    Congrats on the new domain :) Go to ChangeOfAccount.com for instructions on how to do the free move of a domain from one account to another (called a Change of Account, as transfers are only when you're changing Registrars)
