Purchased a link building package of 5000 links - 16 of 40 links does not work!

    I purchased a link building package with 5000 links. About 1600 articles was submitted and each article had 3 links.

    When I got the report from the linkbuilding I got an excel of 1600 links to the articles as a proof that the job had been done.

    I randomly tested about 30-40 links and 16 of them did not work. Either the page did not exist or the page showed a completely different article than mine.

    I told this to the company that did the linkbuilding and they told me that they will go through every link in the report again to make sure everything i correct in the future.

    Have this happened to you? That a SEO company make a BIG MISTAKE like that? I don't feel like I can trust this company any more after this.

    Should I pay for this package or should I tell them to remove all the articles? :confused:

    Ask the company for a fresh report and conduct a random sampling on a different set of links.
