from PM: Q - I know you haven't had this very long but can you tell me what revenue it has generated.

Also, if you were keeping it, what development & promotional steps would you be taking from here.

How is the site currently being promotes?

A - I haven't tracked it yet really, maybe a few bucks, not sure about the affiliate links.

Development is mostly completed, promotion, more of the same, post some links on related boards, search engine submissions, add new articles & news.

Really 1 month, most of what I've done will be just starting to pay off in the next 2 months. I've found it easier to attract visitors to this site than others I've done, mostly due to the pictures and the forums.

There is a huge amount of start up work that's very complete, it's just so new yet.

Also couple new features I forgot - Cartoon of the week, auto updated & can earn commission on affiliate sales cafepress, added by invitation and with permission & approval. Adoptable pet link with picture, updated every time site is loaded/refreshed. Google adsense integrated everywhere, but especially the difficult areas - Forums & Galleries.

2 current bids of $150, will sort that out later if needed. If I had to put a BIN on it, let's say $300 for quick sale, this may change.

Links and banners are mostly manual but very easily done. Articles & news are cutePHP, just log in and cut & paste, add, remove, edit, modify, etc. Gallery and forums of course work similarily. Some of the main elements are automatic such as cartoon, adoption, pet posters.

I'm not offering any assistance moving the site, because I'm not sure I could back it up with my skills. You will have FULL access however to cpanel, ftp, etc, and a couple months to do what you will with it before it even became an issue.

Although I'm by no means an expert at a lot of this, everything on the site works, works well, and is easy to maintain & tweak.

 

Is there a database with this,and if so,how big?

 

2 SQL, one for forum, one for gallery. I don't know the size but the ENTIRE site right now WITH all the images is under 30 meg.

I have a pending bin offer, not sure yet how serious it is but that is in the ballpark.

Still there, my preference is for a true "dog person" to take this on. It is an excellent site that is fully developed, but new, and I would like to stay on as a member, a lot of my heart and soul went into it and I want to see it flourish, but In the right hands.
