Punished for blog footprint?

    I just set up a blog for my gf and need some opinions. Since I used the standard issue wordpress cms and a free template I am worried that the site may be seen as spammy.

    Does anyone think this blog with be punished in Google or maybe Yahoo(obviously not MSN, ha!) for having a "wordpress footprint"? If so, what are the most likely things I could change to avoid this?

    Wordpress is not the problem. If there's to be any problem, it would be with the content you post.

    I know the content will be totally unique. I guess I just don't want to hit the filter that keeps out the blogspot and similar sites that are all over msn.
