Publishing blogs to a live feed

    Totally new to all this techy stuff. So sorry if the answer is obvious. I've tried to search for the answer but with no success.

    With blogs written using WordPress, once you publish a post it automatically shows on kinda like a feed alongside other posts that have just been published. What's this aspect referred to as?

    When using Blogger, the same function doesn't seem to exist, or does it?

    If so, is WordPress better for gaining followers? When I wrote a blog using WordPress, many people saw my posts wheb they were published to this 'feed' of newly published blogs and likewise, I could see and search for others' published posts.

    Well you can set a widget in Wordpress to show posts.
    In Blogger, they have a gadget called, Blog Archive.

    Both are beneficial, though I believe Google may favor Blogger in search.
